Listen To Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito Narrate NBC's Rio Olympics Opening Film

He's also starring in Netflix's upcoming The Get Down -- but first he's getting down with the world's best athletes.

NBC's coverage of the Rio Olympics opening ceremonies starts at 7:30 ET tonight (that's Friday 5 August), and before the dulcet tones of Matt Lauer and Hoda Kotb (hee) take over, you'll see a five-minute film celebrating Brazil and the nearly 11,000 competitors in the 2016 summer Games. The narrator? Gustavo Fring himself, Giancarlo Esposito. Here's a sneak peek via Deadline.

Before you blow this off as superfluous cheese, remember that a montage from ABC's coverage of the '76 Olympics forever associated Nadia Comaneci with the Y&R theme, even though she never performed to it.
