Bravo Has Renewed Below Deck Mediterranean For A Second Season
Get ready for more dicks at sea!
What Happened? Bravo has picked up a second season of Below Deck Mediterranean.
Why Did This Happen? Bravo has made a pretty strong business bet on making its unscripted shows into franchises -- see: Housewives, Real -- so having found this rich new vein of reality show dickheads, what's Bravo going to do, not mine it? It also got fire ratings: "The series has generated double-digit in-season growth in all key demos with the second half of the season performing 30% higher in total viewers, 32% higher in P18-49 and 33% higher in P25-54, versus the first half, according to Nielsen and Bravo."
What Do I Do Now? Get comfortable for the wait, because nothing in the above-linked report indicates when the second season might actually air. However, since the first season was such a surprise hit, you can join our own Sarah D. Bunting in urging the network to bring us all a Season 1 reunion episode.
